in the City, Eridan's been granted the power to recognize the hopes of others. this could be anything from someone hoping they get a letter in the mail to wanting their neighbor's wife to be away that evening so they can beat in her husband's skull with a crowbar. it could also extend to dreams, but only ones the individual considers having a good chance of happening - basically, if they can hope their dream comes true someday, then Eridan can see it. (it also requires he hear the voice or see the face of the target to work.)

as a foreword, Eridan rarely exercises this power at current - and even when he does, he usually isn't inclined to share the results for kicks. in fact, you could consider it more of a possible avenue to add something extra to a thread, or a plot point if you want something they're hiding to reach someone they may not necessarily want it to!

this power is opt-in; even if you give me the go-ahead here, I'll always ask before he uses it on your character, and always ask before he shares the results with anyone else.

if so, what would he see? to be a mother. to be a well thought of fashion designer. to be romanced and loved. that she can successfully protect those she considers in her charge. that people she wants dead would just stop being not dead. that she could actually get some rest for just once.
